The Standard Abrasives™ Rubber Sanding Drum holds an abrasive band for contour work (band sold separately). Constructed from rubber, the drum expands at high speed for the closest possible fit with a band of the same size for controlled operation. This enables it to run smoothly over contoured surfaces and into hard-to-reach areas without skipping or jumping for a smooth, precise finish.
- Range of sizes helps ensure an ideal match between drum size and part for optimal results
- Rubber drum enables controlled expansion of a spiral band for proper balance and smooth running at high speeds (band sold separately)
- Non-slip drum surface securely holds spiral band
- Enables polishing, finishing and blending on contours when smooth running is essential
- Pairs with coated abrasive bands or non-woven surface conditioning bands
