3M™ Scotchcast™ Re-Enterable Electrical Insulating Resin 2123 is a soft, two-part polybutadiene resin encapsulant. This resin has good handling and performance characteristics and is formulated for re-enterable splice protection. This multi purpose, moisture sealing resin bonds to nearly all cable jackets.
Features:
- High performance re-enterable resin bag package for sealing and insulating low voltage cables connections in electrical boxes
- Has 62 min gel time at 23 degC (73 degF)
- Withstands a max temperature in continuous use of 90 degC (194 degF)
- Elongates 300% longer than its original size for easy insulation or wrapping
- Rated up to 1 kV
- Excellent wetting properties and low viscosity
- 3M Scotchcast Easy Dispenser 250 – Mixing of resin components is by a static mixer and delivered together with cartridge
