Plastic Blasting Media is a lightweight, non-metallic abrasive designed for paint stripping, coating removal, mold cleaning, and delicate surface cleaning applications. Its angular particle structure provides effective cleaning performance while minimizing damage to sensitive substrates such as aluminum, composites, fiberglass, plastics, and other softer materials.

Manufactured from recycled plastic materials or specialty resin compounds, plastic media is available in several formulations with varying hardness levels to match specific application requirements. Because it removes coatings without aggressively profiling the underlying surface, plastic blasting media is widely used in industries where substrate preservation is critical, including aerospace, automotive, military, and composite manufacturing.

Its low density allows particles to achieve high velocity during blasting, providing efficient coating removal while reducing the risk of warping, pitting, or dimensional changes to the workpiece.

Types of Plastic Blasting Media
